When an estate such as L'Abbé Dîne — producer of fine Châteauneuf-du-Pape — creates a Côtes-du-Rhône, the result carries a distinctive sense of place. This 2023 red elevates everyday pleasure with ripe black fruit, garrigue and spice, in a fleshy, balanced palate suited equally to a weekday meal or dinner with friends.
In the glass: deep garnet colour and an expressive nose of black cherry, blueberry and herbes de Provence. The tannins are silky, the structure present without austerity, and the finish long and spicy.
