Domaine Barville is one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's historic producers. Its 2022 red, from an exceptional Rhône Valley vintage, is a fine expression of rounded-stone terroir: powerful and elegant, with the southern generosity that defines the great wines of the region.

In the glass: a deep garnet colour with purple highlights and a complex bouquet of confit black fruit, garrigue, leather and sweet spices. The palate is dense and velvety, with silky, mellow tannins and a long, persistent finish. A fine Châteauneuf-du-Pape to enjoy now or cellar for 8 to 12 years.
