Clos du Calvaire is a vineyard plot, a history and a place in its own right. This 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape red, from a warm and concentrated vintage, expresses the depth of Provence's rounded-stone soils: powerful yet elegant, balancing southern warmth with the aromatic freshness found in the finest wines of the Rhône.

In the glass: a deep garnet colour with purple highlights and an intense bouquet of confit black fruit, black olive, garrigue and liquorice. The palate is dense and velvety, with silky, mellow tannins and a long, spicy finish. A fine Châteauneuf-du-Pape for cellaring, ready to enjoy now or over the next 8 to 12 years.
