Shipping and delivery policy

1. Order preparation

Orders are usually prepared within 24–48 business hours, excluding weekends, public holidays and exceptional periods of high activity. We send a confirmation when the order is dispatched, with a tracking number where available.

2. Delivery methods and destinations

Maison Molinet uses Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE) and Chronopost, depending on the products, destination and service selected at checkout. Available delivery services and prices are displayed after the delivery address is entered, subject to product and destination restrictions.

Bottles and other products have separate shipping rate schedules. A mixed order may incur combined charges for the different categories and may be sent in several parcels. The total is shown before confirmation and payment. Bottles and fragile goods receive suitable protective packaging.

Mainland France: delivery via MBE / Chronopost to served destinations, according to the products, shipment and address. European Union: delivery via MBE / Chronopost to served countries enabled on the shop, subject to product and transport conditions; restrictions may apply to alcohol, perfumes and food. Outside the EU: selected destinations are available where a transport solution compatible with the products exists. Available options and charges are shown at checkout after the address is entered.

Delivery outside the European Union is DAP (Delivered At Place). Import duties, taxes, any excise duties and customs clearance fees due at destination are payable by the recipient, except amounts expressly collected at checkout. The carrier or authorities may charge these in addition to shipping costs. Any VAT that Maison Molinet is legally required to collect at the point of sale is governed by the destination’s rules; DAP does not remove this obligation.

This allocation does not limit statutory consumer rights or Maison Molinet’s delivery obligations.

3. Delivery charges

Charges follow the applicable MBE / Chronopost schedules and may depend on the country and delivery zone, product type and quantity, number and size of bottles where applicable, shipment weight for weight-based rates, packaging and parcel count. Charges for different categories may be added together. The total is shown before payment and varies with the order and destination. Collection in store is free when offered.

4. Delivery times

Transit times run from dispatch and are additional to preparation: usually 2–5 business days in mainland France and 3–10 business days within the EU; outside the EU, times vary with the country, service and customs formalities. High activity, exceptional events and customs checks may affect estimates, without prejudice to consumer rights. The delivery date or period stated for the order remains the applicable reference. If none is stated, delivery takes place without undue delay within the time limits required by applicable law.

5. Collection in store

Where offered at checkout, collection is free at Maison Molinet, 8 rue de la République, 84230 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, France. Wait for confirmation that the order is ready before visiting. Information identifying the order may be requested.

6. Packaging and multiple parcels

Orders are carefully protected. Bottles, jars, perfumes and other fragile goods use packaging suited to the products and transport. Items are grouped where possible and appropriate. Product type or quantity, special packaging, separate MBE / Chronopost shipments or better protection may require several parcels. There may be several dispatch messages or tracking numbers, and different delivery dates. Splitting the shipment does not in itself create additional charges after payment.

7. Address and recipient absence

Provide accurate, complete recipient details: name, full address and access information, postcode, city, country, telephone number and email. Contact us promptly if an error is found; an address change cannot be guaranteed once dispatch has begun. If absent, follow the carrier's instructions. If a customer-related address error or other circumstance causes a return or reshipment, Maison Molinet informs the customer of any costs before reshipping, respecting statutory rights.

8. Damaged, broken or missing parcels

On receipt, check the outside of the parcel and, where possible, its contents. For visible damage, breakage or deterioration, we recommend recording precise reservations with the carrier where possible, keeping all packaging and contacting Maison Molinet promptly, ideally within 48 hours. Where possible, provide the order number, a description and photographs of the outer parcel, inner packaging and affected products. This recommendation is not a forfeiture deadline and does not remove statutory rights or guarantees. Maison Molinet remains the customer's contact and handles the necessary steps with MBE / Chronopost and the carrier to find a solution in accordance with consumer rights.

9. Calculation and display of charges

The total delivery charge appears before confirmation and payment. MBE / Chronopost options and prices vary with the address and cart. Maison Molinet adds no delivery supplement after confirmation without prior information and customer agreement, including for a change requested by the customer. Duties, import taxes and administrative charges described in section 2 are separate from delivery charges invoiced by Maison Molinet.

10. Restrictions

Alcoholic drinks, perfumes and certain liquids, food and other goods may face special transport or import rules. Delivery is subject to acceptance by MBE / Chronopost, its transport partners and destination authorities. If an incompatibility is identified after ordering, Maison Molinet contacts the customer before dispatch to offer an appropriate solution or refund for items that cannot be shipped. Any change involving extra cost requires prior consent.
