The 2011 vintage in Châteauneuf-du-Pape was sunny and concentrated, and is now at its peak. Manon de l'Arnesque in a 1.5 L magnum presents this exceptional wine in the large format that allows its full tertiary complexity to unfold: candied fruit, spices, leather and woodland — a palate of remarkable depth.

In the glass: evolved garnet colour with brick highlights, a complex tertiary nose of candied fruit, leather, tobacco, dry garrigue and oriental spices. The tannins are melted and silky, the palate broad and velvety, and the finish seemingly endless. A great wine at its peak, made to share on an exceptional occasion.
