Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise is one of France’s great naturally sweet wines and one of its best-kept secrets. This cuvée from independent winegrower Alain Ignace, based at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, is a revelation: elegant, aromatic and remarkably fresh for a sweet wine.
In the glass: pale gold with golden highlights and bright aromas of orange blossom, white peach, apricot and acacia honey. The sweetness is balanced by lively acidity; the palate is silky and the finish long and aromatic. An exceptional wine for aperitif or dessert.
