Return and Refund Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Right of withdrawal

For purchases concluded remotely, the consumer generally has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods to notify your decision to withdraw, without having to provide a reason.

When several goods from the same order are delivered separately, the period starts from receipt of the last good.

The request can be made:

2. Return of products

After having notified his withdrawal, the customer has 14 days to return the products to:

Maison Molinet – Returns
8 rue de la République
84230 Châteauneuf-du-Pape – France

Products must be returned complete, properly protected, in their original condition and, when sold sealed, with their closure intact. The customer is responsible for the reduction in value resulting from manipulations going beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the good.

3. Wines, spirits and food products

Bottles of wine or spirits sold in the traditional manner are not, simply because they contain alcohol, automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal. They can be returned when they are unopened, intact, complete and in a condition allowing them to be resold, subject to legal exceptions.

The right of withdrawal does not apply in particular:

  • to products likely to deteriorate or expire quickly;
  • sealed products that cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene when they have been unsealed after delivery;
  • to products made according to customer specifications or clearly personalized;
  • to alcoholic beverages when the specific conditions provided for by law are met, particularly in the event of delayed delivery and prices depending on market fluctuations beyond the control of the professional.

4. Return costs

In the event of withdrawal, direct return costs are the responsibility of the customer. It is recommended to use tracked shipping and suitable packaging, particularly for bottles and fragile products.

When the return results from a non-compliant, defective product or a preparation error attributable to Maison Molinet, the return costs validated in advance are covered by Maison Molinet.

5. Reimbursement

Reimbursement occurs no later than 14 days following the date on which Maison Molinet is informed of the withdrawal. Maison Molinet may defer reimbursement until recovery of the goods or until receipt of proof of shipment, whichever comes first.

Reimbursement is made using the same payment method as that used for the order, unless expressly agreed otherwise and at no additional cost to the customer.

The initial delivery costs corresponding to the standard delivery method offered are refunded. The supplement paid for a delivery method more expensive than the standard method is not refunded.

6. Damaged, defective or non-compliant product

In the event of a visibly damaged package, breakage, preparation error or non-compliant product, contact Maison Molinet as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, at contact@maisonmolinet.fr, indicating the order number and attaching useful photographs.

This recommended reporting period does not limit the rights resulting from legal guarantees. Depending on the situation, Maison Molinet will offer a solution in accordance with the law: replacement, refund, price reduction or other appropriate measure.

7. Legal guarantees

The products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code and the guarantee against hidden defects provided by articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.
