Domaine Barville is one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s historic producers. Its 2022 red, from an exceptional Rhône Valley vintage, perfectly expresses the rounded-stone terroir: powerful and elegant, with the southern generosity that defines the great wines of the region.
In the glass: deep garnet with purple highlights and complex aromas of candied dark fruit, garrigue, leather and sweet spices. The palate is dense and velvety, with polished, silky tannins and a long, persistent finish. Enjoy now or cellar for 8–12 years.
